the 4th:

the 4th would not be complete without a few fireworks! yet sadly, with the rain that night, the nearest town had decided to postpone their fireworks display until the next saturday..the 11th.. so, as not to disappoint the eager faces of chad's little cousins, we lit off our own festivities!

..then we waited for it to get really dark! the anticipation was almost too much for our little onlookers, but it was worth the wait..

lawn games:

ah, summer.. picnics at magnuson park in the breeze, plaid blankets in the grass & all means of competitive lawn sport. it’s 73 degrees in seattle for the foreseeable future. perfect. :) here's how we celebrated kristen's happy graduation..

car show:

saturday started with an early morning meet up & caravan to the greenwood car show! the samoa club turned out a united 22 car front! here are the day’s best snaps! (the random cash register is from here, the seattle breakfast hole in the wall that hit the spot for us hungry fair goers. it's kinda grimy.. yet somehow remains endearing..)

miss june:

this precious little one opened her eyes to greet the family that has long loved her & eagerly awaited her debut, sunday, father's day, 4:46 pm. she had quite the exhausting day. :) god is good, all the time.
